Once upon a time, in a world of knights, princesses and gods, there was a film that captured the hearts of viewers. This film was none other than “Knights of the Zodiac”. This epic fantasy movie is based on an anime series produced in the 1980s, also known as “Saint Seiya”. It was brought to life once again by director Tomasz Baginski and writer Eugene Son.
The story follows the journey of young warriors called Saints, who are tasked with protecting the world from evil. They draw their power from constellations and wear magical armor known as Cloth. These Cloth give them enhanced strength and abilities for combat. Each Saint represents a different zodiac sign, giving them unique powers.
The plot of Knights of the Zodiac revolves around Seiya, who is set off on a mission to retrieve his missing sister Saori. Along his quest, he encounters other Saints such as Shun, Ikki, Hyoga and Shiryu who become his allies in battle. Together, they fight against various villains including Medusa and Poseidon.
One interesting fact about the film is that it was produced by Toei Animation – the same studio responsible for classic anime shows like Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon. This studio is known for its high-quality animation which brings an added layer to the movie’s fighting scenes.
