As I watched the film “Hi-Jacked,” directed by Brandon Nutt, my heart swelled with a range of emotions. Set in the sky, this action-packed thriller had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The film focuses on a group of passengers aboard a flight that is taken over by terrorists, and their fight for survival.
The story in “Hi-Jacked” starts with a group of criminals who take control of a commercial flight headed towards Washington D.C. The leader of the group is none other than Andrew Barkley, played by the talented actor – Randy Couture. He plans to hijack the plane and use it as leverage to demand ransom money from the government in exchange for hostages.
The passengers onboard know that time is running out, and they must act fast if they are to have any chance at surviving. This is especially true for one passenger in particular – Mike Lamberti (played by Dominic Purcell), a former marine who has seen his fair share of combat. He decides to take matters into his own hands and teams up with others on the plane to fight back against their captors.
As I watched the plot unfold before my eyes, I was amazed at how well the cast brought their characters to life. Each actor played their role perfectly, immersing themselves into their respective characters so much that it felt like reality.
